JDK Group has a storied history of providing exceptional service for clients in the heating, cooling, and plumbing industries. Elena Kyle and her husband Shane founded JDK Heating & Cooling LTD in August 2018 with the goal of offering the best possible service to their clients. At first, JDK operated with just two fleet trucks and a small staff. However, the company grew rapidly, expanding its workforce to 20 full-time employees by November 2020, and moving to a new office. JDK served an increasing number of homes in new construction and occupied homes alike.

As demand for their services continued to grow, JDK expanded its office staff from one to six in 2021, while also adding new field staff members. By mid-2022, JDK Plumbing was introduced, requiring a spike in new hires. The front office staff grew to nine employees, including a Plumbing Manager and Service Coordinator. By the end of the year, the total number of employees had risen to 35.

JDK’s expansion continued in 2023, as the company added a full-time warehouse manager and new home construction coordinator to support the increased workload. By September, JDK’s full-time employee count had reached 60 for both companies, with new positions such as a sales associate, fleet manager, and brand and marketing manager being added by October. JDK’s success continued into 2024, with the staff size growing to over 70 full-time employees and a fleet of 40 vehicles. A procurement manager and full-time controller were also added to ensure that clients’ needs were met promptly and effectively.

Thanks JDK for our furnace repair. Our furnace went out Saturday morning on the coldest day of the year. We tried a few different companies in Edmonton. JDK was the only one to answer and gave an approximate time they would be. They kept us updated with arrival times and were on time. Very professional and honest up front what the repairs would cost. They were able to repair our furnace quickly and get the heat back on in the low -30s weather which was very much appreciated!

With the great service we will be using JDK for our hvac upgrades in the near future.
